This Interventional Radiology RN role in Fargo offers steady day shifts, diverse IR procedures, and guaranteed hours. Ideal for experienced RNs with IR and ICU backgrounds who are comfortable with sedation and procedural care in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Position Highlights

• Shift: 8-hour Days (Mon–Fri)
  • May need to stay late to finish cases
  • Call: ~10 days or less per month (about 2 days/week or less depending on schedule)
• Unit: Interventional Radiology + Pre/Post Op care
• Scrubs Provided: Ceil Blue
• Charting: Epic EMR
• Equipment: Philips vitals, Accudose/Omnicell, Alaris IV pumps
• Bed/Rooms: 10 pre/post bays, 4 procedure rooms

Responsibilities

• Assist with Interventional Radiology procedures, including:
  • Angiograms, Stroke, Embolizations, Biopsies
  • Vascular access, Paracentesis/Thoracentesis
  • TIPS, Venous ablations/sclerotherapy
• Rotate through pre- and post-op patient care
• Administer procedural sedation with continuous monitoring
• May assist with IV starts and foley placements for Radiology patients
• Function as part of a collaborative, procedural care team

Requirements Experience: 1+ year Interventional Radiology RN experience (required) 1+ year ICU/critical care experience (required) Licensure/Certifications: Active ND or Compact RN License (or willing to obtain) BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA)
