First Connect Health is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Sanford, Florida.

Position Title: Staff ICU Registered Nurse (RN)


Shift: Days (Rotating Weekends) / Nights (Rotating Weekends, Urgent Need)
Beds: 16 ICU Beds
Patient Ratio: 1:1 or 1:2

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect comprehensive patient data and perform ongoing assessments
  • Advocate for patients within interdisciplinary teams
  • Manage delivery of safe, effective nursing care
  • Monitor critical vital signs and respond to emergencies
  • Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and treatments

Qualifications:

  • Active Florida RN license or multistate compact RN license (60 days to convert if relocating)
  • Minimum 1 year recent ICU RN experience in acute care
  • Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree required; BSN preferred
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of start
  • BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association), and PALS certification within 6 months of employment start

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary:

  • $33.77 – $49.06 per hour, based on experience
  • Shift Differentials: $4.50/night, $1.50/weekends

Sign-On Bonus:

  • $15,000 for Day Shift
  • $20,000 for Night Shift
  • Sign-on offers valid through Q3, subject to reevaluation

Relocation:

  • Available on a case-by-case basis
