Job Description
Join Barnabas Health Medical Group as a Patient Services Representative to enhance patient experience and support efficient operations. You will play a vital role in patient check-ins, scheduling appointments, and ensuring high standards of patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Perform patient check-in and check-out functions
Answer routine questions in person and over the telephone
Perform basic clerical functions
Maintain health record information
Coordinate with insurance providers for pre-authorizations
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Relevant experience and/or training
Understanding of patient satisfaction and safety
Strong oral and written communication skills
Attention to accuracy and detail
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Ability to work independently and in a team
Travel may be required
Preferred Qualifications
Associate or bachelor's degree
Previous medical receptionist experience
Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems
Bilingual in Spanish and English
