Join Albany Medical Center as a Perioperative Clinical Service Line Coordinator, where you'll play a crucial leadership role in the Operating Room. This position focuses on enhancing patient outcomes through effective communication and collaboration with medical staff while maintaining high standards of clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and articulate the philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of the Medical Center and Nursing Service
Maintain a safe and caring environment that supports excellence in clinical practice and customer service
Act as a liaison to clinical staff, physicians, and support staff
Research and communicate information on new equipment, supplies, and procedures
Interface with other Perioperative leadership staff to coordinate daily needs of the unit
Required Qualifications
Current New York State licensure as Registered Nurse
Three years previous Operating Room experience
Demonstrates clinical competency as an OR nurse in both the scrub and circulating roles
Valid CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
CNOR certification
Previous management/supervisory experience
Demonstrated leadership experience in charge or resource role
