The Nurse Supervisor oversees clinic staff and ensures efficient delivery of therapeutic healthcare within a designated clinic. They support adherence to health policies and maintain quality patient care. The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, RN licensure in Texas, and prior nursing supervisory experience.
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides general clinic management and supervision of assigned staff in the designated clinic setting. Ensures efficient, appropriate therapeutic health care is administered to clinic patients. Supports and maintains the University Health’s policies, protocols, values and guest relations.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required (Magnet). Three years clinical or hospital nursing with two years of supervisory/charge experience in nursing preferred.
LICENSURE
Current RN licensure in the State of Texas. Must have a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.
