Labor & Delivery RN Job Details

• Location: Phoenix, AZ 85006 – Experience Arizona nursing jobs in the heart of the Valley of the Sun, with year-round sunshine and abundant outdoor activities.
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 10/20/2025 – End: 1/19/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1880-$2020
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• On-Call/Weekend: Schedule determined by facility

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years (24 months) of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current certifications (AHA or American Red Cross):
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• AFM (Advanced Fetal Monitoring)

No license restrictions or disciplinary actions

Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Flu vaccination required (declinations may be considered)

Candidates with an Arizona home address on their driver’s license are not eligible

Must meet all facility background check and documentation requirements

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
• Monitor maternal and fetal health, promptly recognizing and responding to complications
• Assist physicians and certified nurse midwives during labor, delivery, and recovery
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth experience
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
