Acute Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) - Travel Position

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The Sonographer will perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, ensure patient safety and comfort, and assist physicians in accurate diagnosis. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, technically proficient, and committed to delivering exceptional imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols.
Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and safety throughout exams.
Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust technical factors to produce optimal images.
Review images for quality and collaborate with radiologists for interpretation.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Educate patients on procedures and provide compassionate support.
Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in one or more specialties
BLS certification, COVID vaccine, TB test
Minimum 1 year of ultrasound/sonography experience
