Key Responsibilities
Modify, differentiate, and teach an inclusive curriculum
Collaborate with families and Special Education teams on IEPs
Create an inclusive and safe learning environment
Analyze and respond to trends in student assessments
Gather academic growth data for IEP meetings
Provide small group and one-on-one instruction
Build positive relationships with students and families
Engage in professional development and weekly meetings
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated commitment to supporting students’ social emotional and academic development
Enthusiasm for collaborating with internal and external partners
Self-directed learner who solicits and implements feedback
1-2 years experience impacting K-12 students in urban schools
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Meet NY state certification eligibility requirements
