Join the Centerpoint Medical Center as a New Graduate RN in the Inpatient Rehab Unit. This role offers a year-long paid residency program designed to support your transition from student to professional nurse, providing advanced clinical training and mentoring from experienced leaders in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assess patient condition during admission and scheduled shifts, identifying and reporting any changes
Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers
Document care in the patient medical record in a timely manner
Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient for therapeutic response
Teach patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions and treatment plans
Required Qualifications
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
No previous experience needed
Preferred Qualifications
Other Certifications may be required during employment
Some travel may be needed for training
