Key Responsibilities

Provide management oversight for multiple nursing neighborhoods
Assist the Director of Nursing as needed
Promote a collaborative approach with healthcare disciplines
Analyze problems and offer recommendations
Investigate unusual situations/incidents
Communicate events requiring administrative attention
Assess staffing requirements and ensure quality resident care
Develop and implement infection prevention and control programs
Conduct investigations of incidents and maintain logs
Provide education related to infection prevention and control

Required Qualifications

Graduate of accredited school of nursing
Current RN license in the state of employment
Three to four years of recent nursing experience
Demonstrated administrative and supervisory competency
Communication, organization, and planning skills

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent
Completed specialized training in infection prevention and control
One year management experience
