Key Responsibilities

  • Develop sales and marketing plans and strategies to achieve sales goals
  • Recommend and sell products and services to customers
  • Collaborate with other CHS divisions to promote best practices
  • Establish and maintain effective public relations through customer education
  • Monitor market trends and competitor information
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions
  • Complete sales process by scheduling appointments and understanding customer requirements
  • Close sales by building rapport and explaining product capabilities
  • Submit reports to management on sales activities

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4+ years of sales or related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • General knowledge of cooperative systems
  • Strong presentation skills
  • General knowledge of refined fuels or related products
  • Experience with selling concepts, products, and programs to a diverse customer base
  • Negotiation skills with win-win business solutions
  • Ability to enable strong customer relationships
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites
