Travel Certified Surgical Technician – First Assist (Days)
Location: Clarksville, TN
Start Date: 11/10/2025
Duration: 13 weeks
Urgent Need – First Assist

Shift Details:

• Days: 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM, 4 ten-hour shifts per week

• Call: Two weekday calls per week (5 PM – 7 PM) and one overnight per week (5 PM – 7 AM)

• Weekend call: Friday 5 PM – Monday 7 AM, once every 6 weeks

• No floating

Position Overview:
The Travel First Assist Surgical Technician provides high-level perioperative support as a certified First Assistant. Responsibilities include assisting surgeons during procedures, ensuring sterile technique, and providing safe patient care in collaboration with the surgical team.

Requirements:

• First Assistant Certification required (ASA or NBSTA)

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program with 2 years’ experience as a scrub tech

• Proven First Assist experience

• BLS required

Unit Details:

• Number of beds: 12

• Patient ratio: 1:1

• EMR: Cerner
