Key Responsibilities

Provide quality patient care in the Operating Room
Assess patient's needs including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual
Recognize safety issues and implement safe patient handling
Function well in stressful situations
Assume duties as a charge nurse when required

Required Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
Current NYS RN license
BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS certification
Minimum one year medical/surgical experience
Preceptorship, charge and leadership abilities
