Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level technical support to customers and internal teams
  • Perform installation, testing, calibration, commissioning, repair, maintenance, and decommissioning of geotechnical instruments
  • Conduct data checks, reductions, and interpretations
  • Manage customer tickets and proactively identify field visit requirements
  • Perform field visits and provide on-site support to customers

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Mining, Geotechnical Technology
  • 2-5 years of experience with geotechnical and electronics, communications, civil instrumentation, telemetry, construction, or similar disciplines
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean record
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Shape Arrays (SAAs), RST Instruments & NavStar, Syscom or 3vG products
  • Advanced data analysis skills and familiarity with software platforms like the RSTAR Affinity Field App
  • Strong programming knowledge (Visual Basic, Python, etc.) for advanced data analysis
  • Bilingual (French/English) or (Spanish/English) or (Portuguese/English)
