Key Responsibilities
Provide expert-level technical support to customers and internal teams
Perform installation, testing, calibration, commissioning, repair, maintenance, and decommissioning of geotechnical instruments
Conduct data checks, reductions, and interpretations
Manage customer tickets and proactively identify field visit requirements
Perform field visits and provide on-site support to customers
Required Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Mining, Geotechnical Technology
2-5 years of experience with geotechnical and electronics, communications, civil instrumentation, telemetry, construction, or similar disciplines
Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean record
Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Shape Arrays (SAAs), RST Instruments & NavStar, Syscom or 3vG products
Advanced data analysis skills and familiarity with software platforms like the RSTAR Affinity Field App
Strong programming knowledge (Visual Basic, Python, etc.) for advanced data analysis
Bilingual (French/English) or (Spanish/English) or (Portuguese/English)
