Job Duties: - Perform Cath Lab procedures including LHC/RHC, diagnostic/interventional cases, IABPs, Rotablator, STEMIs, pacemakers, generator changes, and MICRAs.
- IR procedures (preferred, not required): chemo/coil embolizations, nephrostomy tubes, central lines, ports, G/GJ tubes, IVC filters, dialysis catheters, Inari/Penumbra/EKOS.
- Hybrid room support (preferred, not required): AAA grafts, peripheral/AO runoffs, fistulograms.
- Scrub, pan, and circulate; room turnover and patient transport.
- Assist with CT/MRI biopsies as needed.
- Operate equipment including GE C-arms, Assist/MedRad injectors, MacLab (transitioning to Merge), Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis.
- Participate in 3-person procedural teams.
- Work 10-hour shifts (0630–1600) with rotating days off.
- Take 1–2 weekday call shifts and 1 weekend of call per month (Friday EOS to Monday morning).
- 30-minute response time required for call.
- No CVOR backup; no staged/protected PCIs or CTOs.
- Use Epic EMR.
- Wear provided scrubs and lead; extended sizing available.
Requirements / Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years recent Cath Lab experience required.
- IR and Hybrid experience preferred but not required; facility can train.
- Must have experience in a Level III or higher trauma center .
- ARRT or RCIS certification required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Must be able to scrub and pan simultaneously.
- Experience with Assist and Manifold preferred.
- Must take call as scheduled, including holidays (every other).
- 30-minute call response time required.
- May float to OR to assist with vascular cases (manager can accommodate if uncomfortable).
- First-time travelers accepted.
- Up to 7 days RTO approved; more or holidays must be submitted for approval.
- Orientation: MHS NEO + unit orientation; up to 2 weeks if no IR experience.
- Must complete buddy call during orientation .
- RN candidates must pass MHS Tele test before start.
- Facility requires CI interview; manager to give final approval .
- Scrub color: Provided.
