As an Avionics/Electrical Technician III at Gulfstream Aerospace, you will leverage your technical expertise to ensure defect-free aircraft systems through testing, troubleshooting, and repairs. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in avionics operations while collaborating with engineering teams and teaching others in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Perform operational tests and repairs of avionics/electronic aircraft equipment and systems
Teach installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components
Troubleshoot and provide timely, quality repairs of malfunctioning systems
Ensure compliance with engineering changes and modifications
Maintain daily logs and documentation of work performed
Coordinate with other disciplines on projects
Conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
5 years experience in avionics/electrical career field
Preferred Qualifications
A & P license
FCC license
NCATT certification
Proficiency in operation and troubleshooting of other aircraft systems
APU run qualification
Engine run qualification
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams
