Join Optum as an MRI Technologist and make a difference in patient care. You'll operate state-of-the-art MRI technology, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality imaging services.
Key Responsibilities
Identify anatomical orientation on all required images
Operate all MRI equipment and associated software
Ensure safety protocols in the MR room
Maintain communication with radiologists and other medical staff
Perform quality control and reporting tasks
Educate patients about procedures and equipment
Mentor new hires
Contribute to efficient outpatient operations
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) MRI certification
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree or Baccalaureate degree in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine
1 year of MRI Technologist experience
Proven ability to follow oral and written instructions
Proven ability to communicate with patients, visitors, and employees
Proven ability to adequately use or learn the department's computerized system
