Manage and mentor engineers responsible for various programs Guide a section of 15 to 20 AEP engineers Handle hiring, staffing, performance evaluations, mentoring/coaching Approve expense reports and timecards Lead in AEP programs with a focus on functional and program tasks Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics (STEM degree) Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience with progressing leadership roles Experience with RF subsystem development, including design, analysis, and/or test Experience spearheading a technical team MS in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or Equivalent Practical experience in all phases of the product development lifecycle Experience in troubleshooting electronics systems Coaching, teaching and/or mentoring skills Strong emotional intelligence skills Experience in creation and/or improvement of engineering development processes Excellent track record for working effectively and collaboratively in a team environment Excellent organizational, planning, and coordination skills Strong engineering development discipline and process advocacy Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills An active and in-scope DoD Top Secret Clearance The ability to acquire a Special Access Programs Clearance Medical, dental, vision insurance Life insurance Short-term and long-term disability 401(k) match Flexible spending accounts Flexible work schedules Employee assistance program Employee Scholar Program Parental leave Paid time off Holidays
