Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a travel assignment. The Registered Nurse will provide direct care to adult and geriatric patients during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. The RN will ensure patient safety, collaborate closely with physicians and the care team, and maintain compliance with all standards of care.Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care throughout cardiovascular procedures
Monitor and record physiologic and hemodynamic data during cases
Communicate continuously with physicians regarding patient status and condition
Assess procedure room and equipment readiness; maintain supplies and instruments
Assist with the maintenance of equipment and inventory
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental activities
Support the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care for patients in the surgical environment
Qualifications:
Active RN license in state of practice (required)
Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab or Critical Care nursing experience (required)
BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications (required)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing ( BSN ) preferred
Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
