As a Sales Account Manager at Staples, you'll drive revenue growth by building strong partnerships with prospective customers in the public sector and commercial market. This remote role focuses on strategizing and presenting solutions that add value and meet customer needs while contributing positively to team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Drive revenue from new customers in the public sector and commercial market
Build territory strategy and analyze performance
Qualify prospects and route opportunities to sales team members
Present solutions to prospective customers
Attend conferences and events to represent Quill
Create custom pricing solutions for commercial customers
Ensure smooth transition to the account management team
Meet monthly/quarterly quotas
Maintain accurate records in CRM
Seek continuous improvement and apply coaching
Cultivate positive team culture and share best practices
Grow business share by developing trusted relationships
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
5+ years sales experience
6 months of relevant experience in the public sector
Ability to cover a territory of San Francisco, CA and surrounding Northern CA area
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
Proven business development experience
