Position: CCU RN (Critical Care Unit)
Shift: Nights, 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:00)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/weeks
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years recent CCU experience; prior charge experience preferred
- Travel Experience: Required
- Charting System: Experience required (Altera preferred)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Skills: Ventilator management, arterial line management, cardiac drips, vasoactive drips, Impella, IABP, PA line/Swan Ganz, chest tube assist, blood product administration, IV insulin protocols, sedation, CVA/Stroke management, wound vacs, sheath removal, emergency medications, infection prevention, and more
Unit & Facility Details
- Unit: 12-bed CCU
- Ratios: 1:2 days/nights/weekends
- Support Services: PT, RT, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Phlebotomy, Interpretation, Rapid Response Teams
- Patient Population: Adults & geriatrics
- Orientation: 12 hours
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (14 shifts per contract)
- Float: May float to Med/Tele
