Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Receives and directs phone calls from patients and physician offices
Schedules patients for treatment by multiple providers and treatment areas
Prioritizes appointments for optimum patient care
Handles urgent patient care calls and alerts providers
Greets patients for scheduled and/or urgent care appointments
Confirms and verifies patient demographic and insurance information
Collects co-payments from patients upon arrival
Obtains signatures of consent for treatment authorization
Collaborates with insurers for prior-authorizations
Maintains accurate and timely records and logs
Performs various administrative and clerical duties
Complies with established departmental policies and health regulations
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Proficient in software and computer systems
Knowledgeable of business office terminology / procedures
Ability to multi-task and work under stressful situations
