Key Responsibilities
Provides treatments to patients by evaluating their function and applying appropriate treatments.
Participates in interdisciplinary approaches for community education and clinical education of students.
Conducts evaluations and modifies treatments based on patients' symptoms and medical statuses.
Documents in accordance to insurance guidelines and adheres to departmental policies.
Educates patients and families on home exercise programs to maximize functional activity.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic personal computer skills in the use of Windows based programs such as Word, Outlook and Excel.
