Join Raytheon as a Senior Hardware Design & Test Engineer, where you'll design and test RF and microwave components, ensuring high-quality production and supporting national defense initiatives. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement and innovation across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
Support technical investigation and resolution of design, build, and test issues
RF/Microwave circuit and subsystem design, modeling, simulation, and verification
Integration and test at component, CCA, and subsystem levels
Transition to production and provide technical support to manufacturing and test engineers
Support small project or process improvements
Participate in circuit card and subassembly design updates
Required Qualifications
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum 5 years’ work experience or Advanced degree with 3 years’ experience
Experience with Microwave / RF system, subsystem and/or component analysis, design and/or test
Experience in failure analysis / Root-Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with testing and troubleshooting RF and Microwave components/subsystems
Background in designing for manufacturability and cost constraints
Technical writing and formal presentation experience
Experience in both engineering design and production environments
Familiarity with tools such as Mentor Graphics Designer, PSPICE, MATLAB, etc.
