Key Responsibilities
Provide 24-hour coordination of appropriate patient placement throughout the hospital
Work closely with all departments, Medical Staff, and Administration
Maximize the use of hospital resources to provide quality patient care
Required Qualifications
Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina
A minimum of four years of acute care nursing practice
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
AHA ACLS certification or within 1 year of hire
AHA PALS certification or within 1 year of hire
Preferred Qualifications
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Experience in inter- and intra-departmental coordination
Ability to function in stressful and emergency situations
