Key Responsibilities

  • Complete set processes and protocols
  • Support care team in delivering excellent customer service
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Schedule/reschedule/cancel patient appointments
  • Handle calls, hospital face sheets, service messages, and requests for medical records
  • Provide direct patient care as a medical assistant
  • Prepare exam rooms and document patient encounters in Epic

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of medical front office or surgery scheduling experience
  • 1+ years of basic computer software experience
  • Surgery scheduling experience
  • EPIC experience
  • Prior authorization experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with health care providers
