A hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Kansas City, MO.

This position is at a community hospital with 5 points of service daily, covering general OR, endoscopy, EP, IR, and basic cardiac cases. The team includes 2 MDs and 4 CRNAs daily, with a mix of supervision and autonomy depending on the day. Case types range from general surgery, ortho, GI, and ENT to IR and cardiac (14% cardiac). The call schedule is Q4 home call with post-call days off, and weekends/holidays are shared among 4 physicians. Shifts include 73 for non-call MDs, a call MD who finishes the day and is off post-call, and one CV-focused MD from 73. The job offers a supportive OR/anesthesia team, no trauma or OB, Epic EMR, and is located in a family-friendly, affordable suburban area with access to city amenities.
