MedAdventures is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) team in Sierra Vista, Arizona. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with a geriatric population in a supportive environment that values quality care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

You’ll work closely with residents to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, helping them regain essential skills and improve quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat residents with communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical staff to ensure comprehensive care
• Educate residents, families, and staff on treatment approaches and carryover strategies
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies

Qualifications:

• Active Arizona SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• SNF experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for working with the geriatric population
