• Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Travel Nursing
• Location: Sanford, NC 27330 (Central North Carolina, near Raleigh & Durham)
• Healthcare Setting: Surgery/Operating Room (OR) – Acute Care Hospital
• Contract Type: 13-week Travel Nursing Assignment
• Start Date: October 20, 2025
• End Date: January 19, 2026
• Shift: 8 Hour Days (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Weekend/Call: Every other weekend; up to 15 call shifts/month
• Scrubs: Provided
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1930–$2070 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact state)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience in the Main OR preferred
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, CPI/HWC/MAB (must be obtained prior to start)
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
• Strong adaptability, teamwork, and clinical skills

OR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients of all ages
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams in a sterile environment
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and other healthcare professionals
• Monitor patient status, respond to emergencies, and ensure patient safety
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
• Accurately document patient care using Cerner EHR
• Float to other units to support overall patient care as needed
