Key Responsibilities
Assist in design and installation of electrical projects
Coordinate with other workers for equipment installation and maintenance
Consult with operators and engineers for equipment layout and problem resolution
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
Maintain equipment logs and document repairs
Test and troubleshoot faulty equipment
Comply with National Electric Code and Cargill standards
Adapt to changing priorities and work conditions
Required Qualifications
Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
18 years or older
Ability to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping and climbing ladders
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Ability to work in confined spaces
Ability to operate machinery
High School diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills
Ability to work overtime and on holidays/nights/weekends
Experience with wiring and programming Allen Bradley PLCs
Experience using electrical test equipment for analysis and troubleshooting
Knowledge of the National Electric Code
Mechanical aptitude to work from blueprints and manuals
Apprentice, Journeyman or above license in Nebraska or equivalent
A 2-year degree in electromechanical or electrical systems
