TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel nurse RN Psychiatric for a travel nursing job in Cranston, Rhode Island. Specialty: Psychiatric ~ Discipline: RN ~ Shift: 8 hours, days ~ Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse I Duartion: 6 months contract Day shift 36-40 hours/weekly, every other weekend, no set end date for the position Start as soon as possible - 8/4/25 is approximate date, with actual start based on timing of candidate selection, onboarding, trainer availability. This is an "Adult Forensic Inpatient Psychiatry " Facility, and this experience is highly preferred. Pediatric, Dementia Psych, or nursing school rotation experience will not count toward the necessary Psych requirement. Covid Vaccine Proof (if have it, but not required for hire) N95 (Can be completed simultaneous to other credentialing once selected.) REGISTERED NURSE A Class Code: To provide professional nursing care to patients/clients; develop and provide direct nursing care and treatment by assessing the patients'/clients' needs, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care; SUPERVISION RECEIVED: received by a nursing superior; nursing supervision is provided by individuals of a higher classification professional nursing standards and procedures. SUPERVISION EXERCISED: evaluate the activities of Licensed Practical Nurses, graduate, nurses, student nurses, attendants, mental health workers and auxiliary ward personnel. To provide professional nursing within an in-patient facility or community service facility. To participate in the intake process by interviewing, assessing, and formulating nursing diagnosis and To interpret nursing and health care needs to other members of the interdisciplinary team. To provide medical and nursing therapies, health care instructions and counseling to clients and families. To document interactions with clients according to agency policy. To apply the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation, in the care of clients. To communicate health, medical and nursing information to other members of the interdisciplinary team. To monitor health status of patients/clients. A thorough knowledge of current and approved nursing a commitment to maintain competency within the field of nursing through regular participation in continuing nursing education programs, workshops, seminars and conferences; Such as may have been gained through: graduation from accredited school of nursing. Must meet nursing registration requirements as required by Rhode Island law appointment must be physically qualified to perform assigned duties as evidenced by a physician's Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
