Job Description

*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans on patients to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as proficiency in operating MRI equipment while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

*Responsibilities*
* Perform MRI scans according to established protocols and procedures.
* Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions.
* Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality images while minimizing discomfort.
* Monitor patients during the scanning process, ensuring their safety and well-being.
* Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and findings.
* Maintain accurate patient records, including scan results and any relevant notes in the Epic system.
* Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent exposure to radiation or other hazards.
* Stay updated on advancements in MRI technology and techniques, including knowledge of diagnostic radiology, sonography, nuclear medicine, and mammography.

*Qualifications*
* Certification as an MRI Technologist from an accredited program is required.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic imaging techniques.
* Experience with MRI equipment and scanning procedures is preferred.
* Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Epic, is a plus.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members.
* Previous experience in X-Ray or other imaging modalities is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $2,900.00 - $3,046.00 per week
