Key Responsibilities
Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties including standard vehicle maintenance
Perform preventive maintenance
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems
Coach and mentor other technicians
Utilize shop management systems and electronic documentation
Interact with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaints
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic tools
Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
Routine preventative maintenance experience
Advanced skilled level repairs including major engine repairs
Four (4) years or more relevant work experience
All other certification as required by location
Preferred Qualifications
Vocational or Technical Certification
Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A
ASE Certification in PM, Brakes, A/C, electrical, Electronics or ASE Master Mechanic
