- Are you a dedicated emergency medicine (EM) physician with a passion for providing exceptional care during the night shift? Join this dynamic team as an EM nocturnist, comprised of four hospitals with a robust EM residency and GME program.
- Responsibilities to include:
- Deliver high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population
- Manage and Triage patients in the emergency department with efficiency and compassion
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff and residents during night shifts
- Participate in departmental meetings and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- About the ED:
- 65k annual visits
- Level I trauma center 40-bed ED
- Up to 10 pediatric beds, can flex up or down with regular ED beds
- 44 hours of MD coverage (flex up to 56 hours during the summer)
- 24 hours of APC coverage (flex up to 34 hours during the summer)
- Meditech EMR
- Board certified/board eligible ABEM or AOBEM
- Independent contractor status
- Located 2 blocks from the beach
- Cases include marine accidents
