Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Maine or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience
• BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, or TNCC preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care abilities

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritize care for incoming patients
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Accurately document patient care and clinical observations
• Respond to emergency situations and deliver life-saving nursing interventions
