Job Description
Join Constellation Energy as a Reactor Supervisor and lead the operations of our Nuclear Power Generating Station. You will engage in training to achieve a Senior Reactor Operator License while overseeing plant operations, ensuring safety, and contributing to a cleaner, carbon-free future.
Key Responsibilities
Authorize maintenance and testing activities to ensure equipment status is maintained
Implement Emergency Operating procedures and direct required procedural steps during emergencies
Evaluate and respond to internal and external issues and findings
Oversee special projects as determined by Operations management
Create, revise, and review Emergency Operating Procedures
Review design and license changes for procedural impact
Provide operability review for systems during off-normal conditions
Assist in developing refueling sequences and ensure systems can accommodate shutdown operations
Direct shift personnel in the performance of plant duties
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Passing the Plant Operator Selection System (POSS) and Basic Math and Science Test (BMST)
Completion of FLS Leadership Assessment
1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a non-comparable facility
1.5 years or more in a position equivalent to Reactor Operator at military reactor or similar roles
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or physical sciences with relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in operations, engineering, outage management, maintenance, radiation protection, or chemistry
