Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely receiving, processing, and labeling of laboratory specimens
  • Handling and/or disbursement of laboratory data and patient results
  • Supporting personnel work with acute-care and outpatient caregivers, vendors, and other Laboratory Services staff

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years college education in biological sciences, anatomy, and medical terminology
  • 3 years Healthcare or related field experience including phlebotomy-related experience
  • Demonstrated outstanding Service Excellence experience
  • Clerical or client services experience
  • Experience with State and Federal regulatory Compliance regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Phlebotomy program with 1 year of phlebotomy related experience
  • Certification from a Clinical Laboratory Assistant Program
  • 3 years related experience
  • Certification in Phlebotomy, medical assisting, research, or clinical laboratory
  • Industry-related experience in a high volume, acute care setting
