JOB SUMMARY
As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) you will support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering hands-on care to help residents improve mobility, manage pain, and regain independence. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will implement individualized treatment plans by guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and activities, assisting with mobility training, and utilizing various therapeutic techniques.
You will observe and document patient progress, communicate updates to the supervising therapist, and help adjust care plans as needed. In this collaborative environment, you will also educate residents and families on exercises and safe movement strategies, ensuring compassionate, patient-centered care that enhances quality of life for individuals recovering from injury, illness, or age-related conditions

We offer the following benefits:
EDUCATION
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
LICENSURE
Licensure or registration, if applicable in the state of practice.
EXPERIENCE
At least one year of PTA experience in the clinical setting.
CREDENTIALS
Current CPR as required by client facility; other health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies.
ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Various client facility settings; possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious materials.
