Job Description
Join Zen Educate as a Teaching Assistant focused on special education in a mission-driven school community. Support diverse learners through lesson preparation, classroom management, and individualized assistance, making a real impact in students' lives.
Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed staff in implementing academic adaptations and IEPs
Work with students individually or in small groups
Maintain a safe and conducive classroom environment
Provide timely support for students in crisis situations
Utilize various learning methods to enhance engagement
Required Qualifications
60 college credits or higher or passing score on Paraeducator Assessment
Professional proficiency in English
U.S. Work Authorization
Preferred Qualifications
ParaPro Certification
Behavioral Technician or PCA experience
Experience working in a school setting with children with special needs
