Key Responsibilities
Provide front and back-office support in a float Patient Care Coordinator/Scheduler role
Answer all phone calls from multiple phone queues
Provide high level of customer service
Review and process prior authorization requests
Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
Intake demographic information for new patients
Schedule/Reschedule/Cancel patient appointments
Submit Specialist Referrals
Resolve customer service inquiries
Prepare exam rooms and document patient encounters in Epic
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
3+ years of customer service experience
1+ years of medical front office or surgery scheduling experience
1+ years of basic computer software experience
1+ years experience as an MA-R or an MA-C
Preferred Qualifications
Surgery scheduling experience
EPIC experience
Prior authorization experience
