Key Responsibilities

  • Support, supervise, and evaluate staff new to the clinical setting
  • Facilitate a multi-disciplinary and collaborative approach to health care
  • Promote excellence in nursing care through clinical standards
  • Provide resources to assess impact on patient outcomes
  • Support clinical rounds with the multi-disciplinary health care team

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree from an accredited clinical nurse specialist program
  • Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS certification from American Heart Association upon hire
  • Current certification in area of specialty upon hire
  • 3 years Registered nursing experience in area of specialty
  • 2 years Clinical leadership responsibility

Preferred Qualifications

  • CNS certification in area of specialty upon hire
