Key Responsibilities
Support, supervise, and evaluate staff new to the clinical setting
Facilitate a multi-disciplinary and collaborative approach to health care
Promote excellence in nursing care through clinical standards
Provide resources to assess impact on patient outcomes
Support clinical rounds with the multi-disciplinary health care team
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree from an accredited clinical nurse specialist program
Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire
National Provider BLS certification from American Heart Association upon hire
Current certification in area of specialty upon hire
3 years Registered nursing experience in area of specialty
2 years Clinical leadership responsibility
Preferred Qualifications
CNS certification in area of specialty upon hire
