Join TEKsystems as a Patient Navigator, where you will be the vital link for patients and healthcare providers. Use your expertise to manage patient care and facilitate access to resources, ensuring compassionate and effective support throughout the healthcare journey.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the single point of contact for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers
Educate stakeholders on access and reimbursement processes
Build and maintain relationships with patients, prescribers, and stakeholders
Coordinate with client field teams
Communicate benefit coverage options in patient-friendly language
Document all activities in the Mercalis system
Support adherence services and patient education
Required Qualifications
Minimum two years of experience in healthcare access delivery or management
Strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), and insurance processes
Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations, including HIPAA and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines
Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare call center experience
Experience handling the Copay Assistance Program and Reimbursement
Degree in Healthcare Management
Certifications such as CCM, CHES, and PAC
Bilingual / Multilingual
