Key Responsibilities
Function as GI technician on all endoscopic procedures
Assist physicians in obtaining specimens such as biopsies and cultures
Participate in GI tech call rotation
Prepare, clean, and maintain Endoscopy room and equipment
Assist nurse with transferring and positioning patients
Handle and safely store all endoscopy equipment
Conduct safety checks of endoscopy equipment
Maintain adequate par levels of all Endoscopy supplies
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Certification required within one year of hire
