Ryder is seeking an experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This full-time position offers competitive hourly pay and opportunities for performance incentives. The role involves maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy-duty trucks while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs
Diagnose and repair automotive systems including A/C and electrical
Coordinate work schedules and road test vehicles
Interact with customers and facilitate repair estimates
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic tools required
Demonstrated aptitude and experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Strong customer service and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Vocational or Technical Certification
3+ years of relevant work experience
Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A
Experience with heavy duty and medium duty equipment
