Key Responsibilities
Identify, plan, and conduct innovative research projects on extreme weather events.
Develop and implement novel techniques and models to enhance risk analytics and loss prevention.

Contribute to the development of hazard models assessing flood, wind, storms, and wildfire risks.
Required Qualifications
MS in meteorology, data science or adjacent field with practical experience in modeling extreme weather and over 3 years of professional experience.
PhD in meteorology, data science or adjacent field with knowledge of statistical/dynamical downscaling techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
PhD in meteorology or atmospheric/climate science with a solid research record.
Proficiency in utilizing Linux/Unix clusters for high-performance computing.
Experience in DevOps practices and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
Ability to communicate technical insights to non-technical audiences.
Competence in using GIS software and processing tools.
