Job Description
Join Georgia Hospice Care as a Hospice Chaplain, where you'll make a meaningful impact by providing compassionate spiritual support to patients and families. Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure that each individual's spiritual needs are met with dignity and respect, all within a supportive work environment that fosters professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Provide spiritual care support and guidance honoring the patient’s beliefs and values
Develop, implement, and supervise the spiritual needs of the patient and family
Collaborate with the care team
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in counseling, theology, divinity, or related field
2+ years of experience in a health care or hospice setting
Reliable transportation
Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 25 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of one unit of clinical pastoral education or minister services
Experience in family counseling regarding issues of loss, grief, death and dying
