Key Responsibilities
Provide culturally competent mental health services to clients with mental illness
Maintain timely and accurate clinical charting using Electronic Health Record (EHR)
Complete accurate case notes for each billable unit
Prepare written reports and state mandated documents
Manage a caseload that meets necessary billable time weekly
Participate in meetings with internal and external customers
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in a mental health related field or currently enrolled in a Master's Degree program in Mental Health or Social Work
Minimum of six months previous experience in Mental Health as a Community Based Therapist
Experience with psychotherapy and competence with diagnostic assessments
Experience with Foster Providers, Adoption, and County Social Services
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of family systems and their impact on mental health
Knowledge of varied interventions with children/families/individuals in crisis
Proficient use of computers for communicating and documenting
Strong skills in managing a flexible schedule
Ability to transport self between client homes/clinic and/or community based locations
