The Director of the Adult and Family Residential Division at The Jewish Board will oversee the clinical and operational aspects of programs supporting residents with serious mental illness. This role emphasizes leadership, compliance, and the development of effective interventions to ensure the well-being and stability of clients in the community.
Key Responsibilities
Provides administrative and clinical supervision
Ensures clinical, operational, and fiscal oversight of assigned programs
Leads recruitment, hiring, and personnel matters
Conducts performance evaluations and provides clinical supervision
Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and standards
Available and on-call 24/7 for urgent situations and client crises
Maintains program budgets and fiscal viability
Collaborates with other departments to solve issues
Required Qualifications
LCSW, MSW, or other clinical qualification preferred
At least two years of supervisory experience in residential services or related human services programs
Substantial experience in working with serious mentally ill population
Understanding of trauma informed care
Understanding of co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse addiction
Preferred Qualifications
MPA, MPH, or related degree
Compassion and respect for vulnerable individuals
Patience and understanding for the stabilization and recovery process
