Key Responsibilities
Work with new and existing retirement plan services participants to provide guidance on retirement goals
Explain the pros and cons of various financial strategies and investment vehicles
Position Schwab as a full service provider for participants' financial needs outside of their retirement plan
Record metrics, ensure compliance, and file reports in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience demonstrating a basic understanding of ERISA, pension/trust compliance, DC and DB plans
Series 7 & 66 licenses required
Additional professional designation from the college for financial planning required within one year of joining the team
Demonstrate a high level of efficiency, quality of conversation, and professional behaviors
High proficiency in consultative communication and active listening skills to uncover financial needs
Excellent time management skills to prepare for and conduct client meetings
Required to stay in role for 18 months
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer 5+ years of successful experience in Qualified Retirement Plans, Financial Planning, Employee Benefits or equivalent experience in a Financial Services role
Preference for Bi-lingual Spanish/English communicator
Possess broad and extensive knowledge of all Schwab products and services
Experience delivering holistic financial planning
Track record as a high performer meeting performance goals and able to connect clients to other financial solutions
Utilization of Salesforce to work lead flow and notate client interactions
Strong presenting skills on the phone and in person
Passionate about the purpose to champion every client’s goals with passion and integrity to make a contribution and help others succeed
Demonstrates good judgment and knows how to utilize resources to accomplish tasks
