Job Description
Join ProHealth Physicians as a Medical Receptionist and be part of a team that cares for the well-being of the community. In this role, you'll manage patient check-ins, schedule appointments, and ensure a smooth administrative process while maintaining confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct check-in and check-out process
Answer incoming calls and use EHR to document patient inquiries
Conduct outreach to patients for appointments or follow-up
Schedule appointments using standard protocols
Manage administrative in-basket pools and work queues
Scan documents into the EHR per standard protocols
Balance payments and prepare deposits
Protect patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality
Provide coverage at other ProHealth locations on an ad hoc basis
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of receptionist or customer service experience
Intermediate level of computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a receptionist in a healthcare setting
Experience working with Epic
Previous primary care or family medicine experience
